Summer means mangoes in India 🙂 With ripe and lovely mangoes everywhere it is apparent that we make mango based beverages often. Some of our favorite homemade mango recipes include fresh mango juice, mango frooti, mango smoothie, lassi, falooda, mango mastini.
In this almond mango milkshake I have added few blanched almonds along with mangoes just like my strawberry almond milkshake. Blanched almonds lend rich yet earthy flavor and taste to this milkshake.
To make almond mango milkshake you can use any variety of mango. Just use ripe and sweet mangoes that are less fibrous. You can add a scoop or two vanilla or mango ice cream to make this milkshake richer.
Kids are very fond of mangoes usually. Such milkshake recipes are wonderful option to sneak in nuts, fruits or veggies in toddlers and kids diet. You can make them as rich or simple you want by adding ice cream, whipped cream or just milk.
In this particular recipe you can easily replace almonds with other nuts. Pistachios taste very good with mangoes especially.
To flavor the almond mango milkshake I have used vanilla extract. Other options are cardamom power, pistachio extractor almond extract.
Serve mango almond milkshake as soon as you make for best taste.

Almond Mango Milkshake Recipe.
- 2 cups chopped ripe mangoes
- 15 almonds blanched or raw
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1.5 cups milk boiled and cooled
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add chopped mangoes, sugar, vanilla and almonds in a blender jar.
Top with milk and blend again till frothy. Serve chilled
1.You can use cardamom instead of vanilla
2.Use whole or blanched almonds instead of almond flakes
3. Adjust sugar according to the sweetness of mango.
