Apple jalebi recipe, an easy to make diwali 2017 special sweet with apple.

- For jalebi
- 2 big apples or 12 peeled apple rings
- 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon melted ghee
- oil for deep-frying
- For sugar syrup:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- Few saffron strands
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
Add yeast and sugar to 1/2 cup lukewarm water.Let the yeast get activated.
Take flour, cardamom powder, ghee and a pinch of salt in the mixing bowl. Add yeast water and mix well. Add required water and make a thick lump free batter.
Prepare sugar syrup of one string consistency with the mentioned ingredients.
Heat oil or ghee for deep frying.
Dip an apple ring in the batter and coat well. Deep fry until golden brown.
Drain excess oil and dip in the sugar syrup. Let soak for 2-3 minutes.
Arrange in a plate and garnish with chopped nuts. Serve apple jalebi as required.
