Ingredients

  • For paneer stir fry
  • 200 grams paneer cubed
  • 3/4 cup sliced mixed bell peppers
  • 1 onion sliced thin
  • 1 to mato finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon crushed ginger garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • For paneer kathi roll or paneer wrap.
  • 4 rotis or plain parathas
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup green chutney

Instructions

  • To make paneer stir fry
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add crushed ginger garlic and saute till raw smell goes off
  • Add sliced onions and saute for few minutes.
  • Add sliced tomatoes and saute till it turns mushy.
  • Add the sliced bell peppers and saute in high flame for 2 minutes. The peppers should not loose their crunch.
  • Add salt, sugar, chili powder and garam masala. Mix well and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the paneer cubes and toss quickly. Remove from flame and let cool for 10 minutes
  • To make paneer kathi roll or paneer wrap.
  • Take roti or plain paratha and warm it on hot tava for few seconds.
  • Place the warm roti over a piece of butter paper or foil.
  • Spread some green chutney. Add some onions as seen in the picture.
  • Now place a generous amount of paneer stir fry.
  • Roll the roti tightly along with the paper. You can insert a tooth pick to keep the wrap intact.
  • Serve paneer kathi roll immedietly. You can also pack the paneer wrap in tiifin.

Notes

1. You can crumble the paneer and make stir fry if you prefer.
2. You can add 1 tablespoon tomato sauce instead of tomato
