Gobi 65 recipe is a deep fried snack made with cauliflower,rice flour,maida and curd.Tasty fusion snack for winters
bite size cauliflower florets
maida/all purpose flour
rice flour/corn flour
ginger garlic paste
Oil for deep frying
Take the cauliflower,separate the florets into bite size and par boil them along with some salt and turmeric powder. Drain all the water,wipe with a kitchen towel and set aside .
Take all purpose flour,rice flour,chilli powder,salt and ginger garlic paste in a bowl and mix well.
Add the whisked curd to it and make a lump free batter
Add the cauliflower florets to it and mix well. Let it sit for 30-60 minutes.
Heat oil for deep frying,once hot fry the florets in medium flame until golden. Do the frying in batches.
In the same pan,fry the curry leaves and add to the fried florets.
Serve gobi 65 hot with coffee/tea.
1.If you want a very crispy gobi 65 use rice flour instead of corn flour
2. You can also add fried onions along with curry leaves
