Ingredients

  • 6 bread slices
  • 1 carrot peeled and grated
  • 1 onion sliced thin
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons grated cheese
  • 3 tablespoons curd
  • salt pepper power
  • Oregano dried mixed herbs

Instructions

  • Toast the bread slices on stove top from both sides till crispy. Set aside to cool
  • Take softened butter in a bowl and add 2 tablespoons grated cheese,onion,grated carrots,curds,salt,pepper powder and oregano to it. Mix very well
  • Preheat oven to 180C. Take the toasted bread slices and arrange on a baking sheet.
  • Divide the prepared cheese mixture equally and spread on all the bread slices.
  • Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese over all the slices. Sprinkle some dried herbs over all the slices.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 7-10 minutes,until the cheese melts. Cut each bread into 3 fingers
  • Serve carrot bread sticks with coffee/milk

Notes

1. You can add cream instead of curd in this recipe
2. You can use different kind of cheese here,you can use cheddar in the mixture and top it up with pizza cheese
3.You can use seasoning as per taste,leave out oregano and use chaat masala instead
