Sathu mavu ladoo is a very healthy toddler snack recipe,easy sweet with multi grain flour!
Chop the nuts coarsely. Powder the sugar.Soak saffron in 2 tablespoons milk
Heat 3 tablespoons ghee in a pan and fry the nuts till golden.
Add the measured multi grain flour and mix well.Saute for 5 minutes till the flour is fragrant.
Add the powdered sugar and mix well.
Add the saffron soaked milk and mix well.
Heat 3 tablespoons ghee in another small pan and add it to the flour mixture.Mix well,add cardamom powder and remove from flame.
Let it cool for 5 minutes.Apply ghee to your palms and make small ladoos from the mixture while it still warm.Arrange in a plate ad let it set.Store airtight.
1.You can use honey or jaggery instead of sugar.
2.If you don't want to add milk,just roast saffron along with flour.
