Coconut pista ladoo recipe | Quick coconut ladoo recipe

Coconut pista ladoo is a quick Indian sweet using coconut,pistachios and sweetened condensed milk.This sweet comes together in flat 15 minutes.

  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup+3 tablespoons pistachios
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon saffron
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder


  • Toast the pistachios in oven or hot tava.
  • Once cooled grind to a coarse/fine powder
  • Take 3 tablespoons pistachio powder and 1/2 cup shredded coconut and mix well.Set aside. Soak saffron in milk and crush slightly.Set aside.
  • In a nonstick kadai,take condensed milk,shredded coconut,pistachio powder,saffron milk.
  • Mix well and start cooking in low flame.
  • Keep mixing in low-medium flame and the mixture will start to thicken.
  • The mixture will start to leave the sides of the kadai and become thick and non sticky (This should not take more than 10 minutes maximum)
  • Once it is completely done,add cardamom powder and mix well.remove from flame.
  • Allow the mixture to become warm (10 minutes). Make small balls and roll between your palms to give ladoo shape. Roll each ladoo over the reserved coconut-pista powder and arrange in a tray.Let it set for 30 minutes.
  • Store coconut pista ladoo in a air tight container and serve as needed.


1.You can add roasted almonds while rolling.
2.Once the mixture cools it will be hard to roll into ladoos,so do it while the mixture is still warm.
3.If you find the mixture to be too loose to roll,add 2 more tablespoons of shredded coconut and cook for 2-3 more minutes.
