Roasted bell pepper sauce recipe

Roasted bell pepper sauce recipe is an easy and delicious sauce or dip that you can make under 30 minutes. I have been making this on repeat mode in the last few weeks and that tells how good it is 🙂 Serve this bell pepper sauce with any Indian breakfast or as a side for grilled veggies, flat bread and crackers also.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 6 garlic cloves peeled and chopped
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 1 big bell pepper chopped
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 6 dried red chilies
  • salt to taste
  • tamarind small piece

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan. Fry the garlic cloves well first.
  • Next add the cubed onions and saute well. Add dried red chilies and saute
  • Add the cubed bell peppers and tomatoes. Saute in medium flame for 10-12 minutes. Add tamarind piece, salt and sugar. Mix well.
  • Let cool and blend into a smooth or chunky sauce. Store in airtight jar and use as required.
