  • 6 bread slices
  • 3 tablespoons butter soft
  • For cheese chilli mixture
  • 1/2 cup tightly packed grated mozzarella cheese
  • 2-3 green chilies finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
  • A pinch of dried basil
  • Salt


  • Cheese chilli toast on tava
  • Butter the bread slices and place on hot tava.
  • Toast one side on low flame for 5-7 minutes. The bread should crisp up well and turn golden.
  • While the bread is getting toasted let us prepare the cheese chilli mixture.
  • Now mix all the ingredients mentioned under cheese chilli mixture.
  • Place some cheese chilli mixture on each toast and return to the tava.
  • Toast in low flame until the cheese melts. Serve cheese chilli toast
  • To make cheese chilli toast in oven:
  • Preheat oven at 200C
  • Arrange the buttered bread on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes5q
  • Remove carefully and place the cheese mixture
  • Bake again for 7 more minutes. Serve hot.
