  • 2 cups whole wheat flour minus 2 tablespoons
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 150 grams butter
  • 250 grams dark chocolate chopped
  • 400 grams sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup broken or crushed chocolate sandwiched cookies oreo
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • A pinch of salt if using unsalted butter
  • Vanilla extract


  • Preheat oven at 180C. Prepare a 9 or 10 inch square tin by greasing and lining with parchment or butter paper.
  • Melt butter and chocolate thereto in a small pan until smooth and glossy. let cool. Add sweetened condensed milk,cocoa powder and mix very well.
  • Sift wheat flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix well.
  • Add 3/4 cup broken oreos and fold. Pour the oreo brownie batter into the prepared tin. Spread the remaining bits of oreo cookies over the top and tap gently. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve eggless oreo brownies warm or at room temperature.


1. Use good quality chocolate as brownies depend on them for flavor.
2. You can use any sandwich cookies
