Coconut ladoo recipe with khova. Delicious, rich and melt in mouth meat balls / ladoo with khova, desiccated coconut.
- 1 cup unsweetened khova
- 1 cup desiccated coconut flakes
- 1/4 cup sugar 9adjust as per taste)
- Rose essence
- cardamom powder
- Pistachio flakes.
Being khoya to room temperature if you had stored it in fridge. Crumble the khova well
Heat 1 teaspoon ghee in a pan. Add the crumbled khova and saute well in low flame for 3-4 minutes.
Add 1/4 cup sugar and mix well. Cook in low flame till the sugar dissolves and mixture turns in soft mass.
Add the desiccated coconut and mix well. Add rose essence and cardamom powder.
Mix well and cook till all the moisture is gone.
Remove the mixture to a bowl. Apply some ghee to your palms and make small ladoo from the mixture. Allow the ladoos to set for 15 minutes. Store in airtight container. Serve coconut ladoo as dessert or snack.
