Skillet pizza recipe without yeast | No yeast no bake pizza recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups multi grain flour or whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • A pinch of baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons curd
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt
  • For topping
  • Sliced vegetables
  • Pizza sauce
  • Oregano seasoning
  • Chili flakes
  • Grated cheese
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  • Take multigrain flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and soda in a mixing bowl.
  • Add oil, curd and mix well.
  • Add water slowly and knead to a very soft, smooth and pliable dough. Rest the dough for 3-6 hours
  • Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
  • Heat a heavy cast iron skillet or tava over medium heat. heat for 5-7 minutes. The heavier the tawa the better the pizza.
  • Now take one dough ball and roll into thin circle.
  • With a fork prick here and there on the rolled base
  • Place the rolled base on the hot skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is half cooked.
  • Flip the base and quickly assemble the pizza. First spread the sauce and then add the veggies. Next the seasoning. Then some grated cheese. Finally drizzle some olive oil over the cheese.
  • Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes in low heat. Once the cheese melts and aroma wafts out the pizza is ready. Slice and serve skillet pizza warm or hot.

Notes

1. Make sure to preheat the skillet over medium heat for 7 minutes
2. DO not apply oil or butter on skillet directly
3. Use a heavy cast iron skillet for making this pizza
4. You can roll the base thick if you prefer
