Take the raised pizza dough and punch back lightly. Knead again slightly. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions.
Preheat oven to 220C for 10 minutes. Roll one portion into a thin circle for making thin crust pizza. Carefully transfer the rolled base to a pizza plate or baking tray. I directly hand tossed the pizza base on the pizza plate. Prick the base here and there with a fork.
Apply some olive oil all over the base and spread well. Then add the pesto sauce and spread well all over the base.
Now add some grated cheese all over the base.
Now arrange the toppings. Add some chili flakes and oregano seasoning all over the pizza. Top with more grated cheese.
Place the arranged pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes till the cheese bubbles and the bottom of the pizza is hallow. wait for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve basil pesto pizza hot sliced into wedges.
1. You can make thin crust or regular pizza as per taste. Just roll the base as required. 2. Increase/decrease the amount of cheese as required.
