Peas paneer cutlet recipe is an excellent after school snack made with peas,panner and potato as binding agent. No onion garlic recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 large potato boiled,peeled and mashed.
  • 1/2 cup boiled peas
  • 1/2 cup grated paneer
  • 3/4 cup crushed corn flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon amchoor powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala powder
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 " inch ginger
  • Salt
  • Oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  • Boil,peel and mash the potatoes. Add the boiled peas and mash slightly.
  • Add the grated paneer and mix well. Coarsely grind ginger and green chilli using mortar and pestle,add it to the peas-paneer mixture.
  • Add salt,amchoor,chaat masala powder and mix well.
  • Crush the cornflakes and set aside
  • Make 8-10 equal sized balls from the peas-panner mixture and flatten slightly.
  • Now roll this over the crushed cornflakes until completely coated.
  • Heat oil for shallow frying and slide the cutlets slowly. Cook till golden brown and flip gently and cook the other side too. Serve peas paneer cutlet hot with any sauce or chutney.

Notes

1. If you feel the mixture is too loose,you can add 2 teaspoons corn flour
2. You can use bread crumbs instead of corn flakes too.
3. After rolling and shaping the cutlets,you can refrigerate for 1 hour to hold the shape well
