Sandwich Chutney Recipe

Sandwich chutney recipe is an easy green chutney made with coriander and mint leaves that is used as spread for Indian street style sandwiches. No cook easy chutney that keeps well for a week.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups coriander leaves tightly packed
  • .5 cup mint leaves tightly packed
  • 3-4 green chilies
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala powder
  • 6 cashews or 2 tablespoons peanuts or 2 tablespoons grated coconut
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Instructions

  • First of all pick and rinse coriander leaves and mint leaves very well. Drain all excess water and take in a mixer jar.
  • Add 6 cashews, 1 teaspoon chaat masala powder, 3 green chilies, salt. Blend for a minute.
  • Now add little water and blend to a very smooth paste.
  • Finally add lemon juice and mix well. Store in airtight container and use as required.
