Cilantro Pesto Recipe
Quick and easy pesto sauce recipe made with fresh cilantro leaves, onions and chilies.
Servings: 1 cup
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 2 tablepoons walnuts optional
- 1.5 cups cilantro leaves tightly packed
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 green chilies
- salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Dry roast almonds in a hot skillet or tava for 3-4 minutes. Let cool
Transfer to a mixer or blender jar or food processor. Blend along with roughly chopped coriander leaves, onions, chilies and salt. Finally add olive oil and blend again.
Store cilantro pesto in clean jar and use a s required.
