Ingredients

For making paneer bhurji

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 green chilies slit
  • 1/2 inch ginger peeled and minced
  • 3 garlic cloves peeled and minced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 small tomatoes chopped fine
  • 3/4 cup methi leaves rinsed
  • 1 tespoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 200 grams paneer
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

To Make Paneer Masala Dosa

  • 1.5 cups dosa batter
  • 1/2 cup red chutney
  • oil to make dosa

Instructions

For making paneer bhurji

  • Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Temper with cumin seeds, minced ginger garlic and slit green chilies. Add chopped onions and add chopped tomatoes.

  • Saute well and add rinsed methi leaves

  • Add the spice powders.

  • Saute very well till the raw flavor of methi leaves go off.

  • Now add the crumbled paneer and mix very well.

  • Season with salt. Cook in medium flame for 2-3 minutes,
  • Add cilantro leaves and mix well. Remove from flame, add lemon juice and mix well.

  • Heat a cast iron tava and once it is hot spread few drops of oil all over. Pour a ladle full of dosa batter and spread into a thin circle. Cook for a minute.

  • Place 2-3 tablespoons of prepared paneer bhurji. Close into half and cook till dosa turns crispy, flipping as necessary.
