BABYCORN FRITTERS RECIPE
Babycorn fritters recipe- crispy, flavorful and absolutely delicious fritters with babycorns to munch with a hot cup of adrak chai. These babycorn fritters are totally addictive yet very easy to make with minimum ingredients and time.
- 25 baby corns
- 1/2 cup gram flour
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
- salt to taste
- oil for deep frying
- black salt to serve
- lemon slices to serve
Peel and rinse the babycorns well in water. Slit each babycorn into two vertically.
Blanch the slit babycorns in salted water for 5-7 minutes. Drain thoroughly and set aside
Heat oil for deep frying. While the oil is getting heated, take the blanched babycorns in a bowl.
Add pepper powder, chili powder, gram flour, rice flour and required salt. Toss without adding water.
Deep fry in hot oil in batches until golden brown and crispy.
Serve with a sprinkling of black salt and lemon slices.
