Carrot Milkshake

Carrot milkshake is a creamy and rich beverage that is healthy as well for summer. You can make this delicious milkshake and serve as breakfast or snack for toddlers and kids. A healthy, filling and tasty treat!

Ingredients

  • 2 large carrots
  • 2 cups milks boiled and cooled
  • 10 cashews or almonds
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons fresh cream optional

Instructions

  • Rinse, peel and chop two large carrots. Steam or pressure cook the chopped carrots until soft. You can steam for 10 minutes or pressure cook for 2 whistles. Let cool.
  • Combine cooled carrots, cream,cashews and sugar in a blender jar. Blend smooth.
  • Top with boiled and cooled milk. Blend again until frothy. 
  • Serve Chilled

Notes

Variations- along with carrot you can add steamed beets and  pumpkins.
Serving- This recipe yields 3 regular servings. You can double or triple the recipe
