- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons corn flour
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Mix all the ingredients except water and vanilla well into a sauce pan.
Add water slowly and mix well without lumps. Add vanilla and mix well.
Cook gently in low flame for five minutes, whisking contentiously
The sauce will thicken and coat the back of the ladle.
Let cool thoroughly and store chocolate syrup in clean dry bottle.
Chocolate Milk:
Mix 2 tablespoons of prepared chocolate syrup to 1 cup chilled milk.
