- 1.5 cups strawberries fresh or frozen
- 1 banana ripe, small
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder unsweetened
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
To serve
- coconut cream
- mixed seeds
- halved strawberries
Rinse, wipe and hull the berries. If you prefer you can slice them into halves. If you are using frozen berries, just add 1 cup frozen strawberries as such.
Add chopped banana, hulled berries in a blender jar.
Add milk, sugar.
Next add protein powder, cocoa powder.
Blend until smooth.
Transfer strawberry chocolate smoothie to a serving glass and add some mixed seeds. Serve immediately.
- Make sure to taste the fruit before blending to ensure it is not overly tart.
- Use a high power blender to make creamy smoothie.
- You can add few ice cubes to the thicken the smoothie if you like.
- To make a super thick smoothie you can 2 teaspoons chia seeds or 1 tablespoon oats while blending. Add all the ingredients and blend until smooth. You can do this for all smoothies.
- For intense chocolate flavor you cam add 1 tablespoons chocolate sauce or spread along with all the ingredients.
- For a rich flavor you can add 1 tablespoon almond butter while blending.
