Amla Juice

Amla juice or Indian gooseberry juice is a delicious and wonderful beverage loaded with so many health benefits
Amla is one of the highly sought after fruit in India for its immense health benefits. Ayurveda celebrates amla like no other fruit. It is a powerhouse of Vitamin C, excellent immunity booster and used very widely to increase and maintain hair health.

Ingredients

  • 3 Indian gooseberries amla or 3 pieces dried amla
  • 3.5 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon palm sugar or manuka honey
  • Salt big pinch

Instructions

  • Rinse and wipe 2-3 raw amla fruit thoroughly. Dice them and remove the small pit inside each fruit as you dice.

  • Add the chopped amlas to a small mixer grinder.

  • Add 1/2 cup water to it.

  • Blend into a smooth paste. Add a big pinch of salt and 1/2 teaspoon palm sugar or raw sugar and blend again.

  • Transfer to a large bowl.

  • Add 3 cups water and mix thoroughly.

  • Serve immediately. To get the full benefits of this juice, avoid refrigeration or adding excessive sugar.
