Dates Milkshake Recipe
Dates milkshake is a very healthy, tasty and filling holiday drink for toddlers and kids. A tall glass of this delicious milkshake with breakfast or snack will totally please the kids. - 15 dried dates
- 10 almonds or cashews
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 .5 cups milk of choice dairy, almond or coconut
Rinse, pit and soak 15 dried dates in warm water for an hour. In the meantime boil and chill the milk thoroughly.
Drain and add the dates to a mixer jar. Add almonds, sugar to taste and vanilla extract.
Add 1/4 cup milk and grind to a very smooth puree.
Top with remaining milk and blend again.
Serve Immediately.
- You can store this beverage for 4-6 hours in refrigerator
