Dates milkshake is a very healthy, tasty and filling holiday drink for toddlers and kids. A tall glass of this delicious milkshake with breakfast or snack will totally please the kids. Also you don’t need any special ingredient for this milkshake. Just 3 main ingredients and few optional ones! Here is how to make healthy dates milkshake recipe.

Ingredients

  • 15 dried dates
  • 10 almonds or cashews
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 .5 cups milk of choice dairy, almond or coconut

Instructions

  • Rinse, pit and soak 15 dried dates in warm water for an hour. In the meantime boil and chill the milk thoroughly.
  • Drain and add the dates to a mixer jar. Add almonds, sugar to taste and vanilla extract.
  • Add 1/4 cup milk and grind to a very smooth puree.
  • Top with remaining milk and blend again.
  • Serve Immediately.

Notes

  1. You can store this beverage for 4-6 hours in refrigerator
  2. The recipe can be doubled
