Ingredients
6bread slices
1large onionfinely chopped
2 tomatoesfinely chopped
1/2green bell pepperfinely chopped
2green chilies
1teaspoonminced ginger-garlic
1/2teaspoonchaat masala powder
1teaspoonlemon juice
Salt
1tablespoonoil
Instructions
First the masala should be prepared. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a kadai. Temper with cumin seeds. Add slit green chilies, minced ginger garlic and saute well.
Add finely chopped onions and saute till the color changes.
Add finely chopped tomatoes and saute well for few minutes. Add finely chopped capsicum and mix well. Add salt and chili powder, saute well and cook till the tomatoes turn mushy and oil leaves out.
Just before serving take the bread slices and toast well with or with out oil. Break or cut the bread slices into cubes. Toss the cubed bread slices into the prepared masala, add lemon juice mix well and serve bread masala immediately.
Notes
1. You can add 1/2 teaspoon garam masala if you wish. 2. You can add amchur powder instead of lemon juice
