Baked samosa pinwheels recipe with step by step photos. Today I am sharing a very easy to make tasty as well as healthy treat for toddlers and kids.
Samosa pinwheels made of whole wheat flour, loaded with veggies and topped with some cheese, baked and not fried :).
I saw this fried samosa pinwheels recipe in many videos last month and wanted to try as it looked very tempting. Last week I decided to bake it topping with some cheese. The filling used is typical veg samosa filling with Indian flavors. I have ued a mix of potatos, carrots and green peas. I have cooked the filling here as I baked these pinwheels. If you are planning to deep fry the pinwheels then just boil and mash the veggies along with seasoning. No need to cook. Cheese is optional but adds to the taste and flavor.
To make baked samosa pinwheels recipe, I have used whole wheat flour. You can even use maida here. The veggies are boiled, mashed and slightly sauteed with seasoning. This is the filling for our pinwheels. Let this cool for sometime before making the pinwheel. Once the log is made it is very important to chill it for 30 minutes to get neat slices. Once sliced you can deep fry or bake till golden. very delicious and healthy snack to serve with tea.
Serve baked samosa pinwheels hot with coffee.
