Paneer curry recipe in 10 minutes with step by step photos.  An easy breezy to make yet very exotic paneer curry or dry paneer masala made in 10 minutes. If you have paneer handy or using store bought paneer, this quick paneer masala comes together in 10 minutes and tastes absolutely delicious with naan, kulcha or rotis. I served these with some awesome aloo kulcha and the whole meal was nothing short of what you get in expensive restaurants. This easy paneer curry recipe will soon become your favorite among Indian paneer recipes.

This easy paneer curry recipe is a no grind one and you do not even have to do any fine chopping. Just the veggies are cubed and quickly sauteed with some spice powders. To this veggie mixture, toss the cubed paneer, saute briefly and you are done. This paneer curry recipe will come handy when you have sudden guests that you want to make something special yet quick.

To make paneer curry recipe, we can use any veggies of your choice. The safe bet is to use colored bell peppers and diced carrots. Baby corn, mushrooms will also be good in this recipe. If you want to make this easy paneer curry into a gravy, you can puree the tomatoes and add 1/2 cup water to get desired consistency. Garnish with generous amount of cilantro leaves afor a nice flavor. You can also use kasuri methi.

Serve paneer curry with naan, kulcha, roti or rice.

Step by step paneer curry recipe:

1. Heat 1 tablespoon butter or oil in a pan. Temper with cumin seeds. Add cubed onions and saute for a minute. Add crushed ginger, slit green chilies and saute for a minute.

2. Add chopped or pureed tomatoes and saute well till the tomatoes shrink.

3. Add the cubed bell peppers and diced carrots and saute well in high flame for 3-5 minutes. Add salt, chili powder and garam masala powder.

4. Add the cubed paneer and saute for 2 minutes in medium flame. Garnish with cilantro leaves or 1 teaspoon crushed kasuri methi. Serve paneer curry hot with roti or naan or rice.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 grams cubed paneer
  • 1 big carrot peeled and diced
  • 1 cup cubed bell peppers
  • 1 large onion cubed
  • 2 large tomatoes chopped
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 teaspoon crushed ginger
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Cilantro leaves
  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil
