- 1/4 cup cardamoms
- 1/4 cup dried ginger powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoon black peppercorns
- 3 tablespoons cloves
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
Dry roast the all the spices except dried ginger powder until fragrant.
Cool thoroughly. transfer to a mixer jar and powder the spices.
Add dried ginger powder and blend again.
Store the prepared masala tea powder in airtight container.
To prepare masala tea using chai masala powder:
Use 1/4 teaspoon to 1/2 teaspoon per cup.
Add along with tea leaves and boil.
