Ingredients

  • 200 grams cubed paneer
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 big tomatoes chopped
  • 1-2 tablespoons kolhapuri masala powder.
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar or jaggery
  • 1 teaspoon crushed ginger garlic
  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  • Keep the kolhapuri masala powder ready
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan.
  • Temper with cumin seeds.Add crushed ginger garlic and saute well.
  • Add chopped onions and saute for few minutes,
  • Add chopped tomatoes and saute till they turn mushy.
  • Add the kolhapuri masala powder, salt and turmeric powder. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes
  • Add sugar and 1/2 cup water. You can add 1 cup water for gravy.
  • Now add the paneer cubes and toss or simmer for 2 minutes
  • Garnish with cilantro leaves and serve paneer kolhapuri hot with roti or rice.
