Ingredients
2cupsoatsrolled if available
1/3cupsdateschopped
1/8cupalmondschopped
1/8cupwalnuts chopped
2tablespoonspumpkin seeds
2tablespoonssunflower seeds
2tablespoonsraisins
1/2cupchocolate chips
2tablespoonscocoa powder
2tablespoonsoil
2tablespoonshoney
1 .5tablespoonsbrown sugar
1vanilla beanscrapped
Instructions
Chop dates, almonds and walnuts.
Take oil, honey, brown sugar,cocoa powder in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
Add scrapped vanilla pith along with the bean, mix well.
Add oats, chopped dates, nuts, seeds and raisins. mix well and set aside for 5 minutes.
In the meanwhile preheat oven at 200C.
Take a cookie sheet and spread a parchment or butter paper on it. Now spread the prepared granola mixture on the cookie sheet in a single layer.
Bake for 5-7 minutes until the mixture turns crisp and lump free. Sprinkle the chocolate chips all over the baked granola while it is still warm. Allow to cool thoroughly. Store chocolate granola in airtight container and serve as needed.
Notes
1.You can leave out chocolate chips if you do not prefer
