For making chocolate granola the main ingredients you need are oats, walnuts and almonds and cocoa powder. While it is best to se rolled oats for granola, I have used regular oats as I had that handy.
Apart from oats and almonds, this chocolate granola has dates and seeds too. The addition of various seeds makes this granola rich in micro nutrients.

I have also added some chocolate chips for making the granola more chocolaty. They are optional though.
How To Serve Chocolate Granola?
This chocolate granola is best served with cold milk. You can also add some assorted berries and other fruits for a wholesome and delicious breakfast.
You can also serve this granola as snack to munch on. Also this granola can be sprinkled over smoothie bowls, chia puddings to make them more filling and delicious.
Variations With Chocolate Granola Recipe:
- You can add 1/4 cup popped amaranth seeds in this recipe.
- Toasted coconut bits or roasted desiccated coconut
- Flax seeds, hemp seeds can also be added

How To Make Chocolate Granola Recipe Step By Step
1. Chop dates, almonds and walnuts.
2. Take oil, honey, brown sugar,cocoa powder in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
3. Add scrapped vanilla pith along with the bean, mix well.
4. Add oats, chopped dates, nuts, seeds and raisins. mix well and set aside for 5 minutes.
5. In the meanwhile preheat oven at 200C.
6. Take a cookie sheet and spread a parchment or butter paper on it. Now spread the prepared granola mixture on the cookie sheet in a single layer.
7. Bake for 5-7 minutes until the mixture turns crisp and lump free. Sprinkle the chocolate chips all over the baked granola while it is still warm. Allow to cool thoroughly. Store chocolate granola in airtight container and serve as needed.

- 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 .5 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 vanilla bean scrapped
Instructions
