Wheat Dosa Recipe | Instant Goduma Dosa Recipe

Wheat dosa recipe is an easy and instant dosa recipe made with whole wheat flour, rice flour. Tastes best when served hot with chutney.

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 2 tablespoons rava
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies sliced
  • 10 curry leaves torn
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil to make dosa


  • Into mixing bowl add wheat flour, rice flour and rava. Add salt to taste. Mix well.
  • To the flour mixture, add 3 cups water in stages. Mix well and make a lump free batter. The batter should be of thick buttermilk consistency.
  • Add 10 curry leaves, 2 green chilies, finely chopped and 1 finely chopped onion to the batter. Mix well.
  • Heat a cast iron tava and grease well with oil. Pour a ladle full of a batter into a circle. Do not spread.
  • Add oil at the edges and let cook for 30-40seconds. The edges will turn crispy.
  • Now gently flip if required. Once the edges are crispy and golden remove from stove and serve hot.



  1. use good cast iron tava for uniform cooking.
  2. You can skip rava if you prefer
