It is especially suitable for beginners as you can easily use store bought rice flour and besan to make this no grind bread murukku. When I had few leftover bread slices after a sandwich I thought of making bread rasmalai. I realized I have shared very less number of savory recipes compared to sweets so made this bread murukku recipe instantly. The whole process took around 25 minutes for me. So easy and quick.
To make bread murukku recipe we need few bread slices, rice flour, gram flour, chili powder and salt. I have added white sesame seeds for some crunch. You can add nigella seeds or cumin seeds too. I have used some hot oil as fat. You can add melted butter too if you wish.
Serve crispy bread murukku with coffee.

Step by step bread murukku recipe
1. Remove the edges from the bread slices and soak it in water for 30 seconds. Squeeze out all the water and take it in a mixing bowl.
2. Heat oil for deep frying.
3. Add 3/4 gram flour, 1/2 cup rice flour, chili powder, salt, white sesame seeds. Take 2 tablespoons hot oil and add to the flour bread mixture. Mix thoroughly.
4. Gradually add water and knead to a soft dough.
5. Make murukku of desired shape.
6. Deep fry until dark golden brown until sizzling sound of the oil stops. Cool thoroughly and store in airtight box. Serve bread murukku with coffee.
