This mango season, I made and shared many mango recipes here, but this mango fool recipe also known as mango cream recipe has to be my personal favorite in all means. First of all, it is super easy to make. No cook, 3 ingredients and 10 minutes are all you need to make this mango cream recipe. Next is very very rich and tasty despite being so easy and quick to make. This mango fool will make a great impression as fancy dessert when served in nice glasses. Last, it is damn pretty :). I so enjoyed clicking this mango cream, that I went on and on clicking pictures of this dessert :). The word fool here is derived from french word foule meaning pureed.
To make mango cream fool recipe, I have used low fat fresh cream (Amul). You can also use heavy cream or whipping cream. Use very ripe sweet mangoes so that you can avoid sugar in mango puree. I just added 2 teaspoons sugar while whipping the cream in this dessert. My mangoes were very sweet as such. You can however add sugar, lemon juice, zest or cardamom powder to mango puree and vanilla extract to whipping cream. If you want to make this dessert fancy, you can alternate between the whipped cream and mango puree and make a layered dessert. Else you can just make two layers. You can even fold the mango puree in the whipped cream and serve too.
Serve mango fool thoroughly chilled, garnished with nuts or mint leaves or finely chopped mangoes.

How to make mango fool recipe
1. Peel and roughly chop the mangoes after removing the seed. Puree the mangoes well into a smooth pulp. If the mangoes are not sweet, you can add sugar to taste while pureeing. Refrigerate until use.
2. Whip fresh cream or whipping cream with required sugar into soft peaks.
3. Into a serving glass, add the whipped cream and mango puree as required. As layers or just fold the mango puree into the whipped cream. Chill in refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Serve mango fool as dessert.
