Mixed dal dosa is made of various lentils without rice. Here I have used urad dal, toor dal, channa dal, moong dal, black urad dal and white green peas. You can use any kind of lentils as per your taste. This dosa turns out very crispy and tasty with a nice golden color.
To make mixed dal dosa you just have to soak the dals for 4-6 hours. Grind the soaked dals into a very smooth paste first. Add salt and mix well. this batter can be refrigerated for 3-4 days. Take required amount of batter and add some water to get spreadable consistency. You can make crisp paper dosa too with this batter. Very flavorful and tasty.
Serve mixed dal dosa with tomato chutney or coconut chutney.

Step by step mixed dal dosa recipe
1.Soak all the dals in plenty of water for 4-6 hours. There are specs of black urad dal skin. Add salt and mix well.
2. Take required amount of batter in a bowl. Add water proportionately and mix well. The batter should have regular dosa batter consistency.
3. Heat a dosa tava. Once it is very hot, lower the flame and pour a ladle full of batter. Spread on the same direction. Add oil to the edges and little bit in the middle.
4. Flip and cook till the dosa turns crispy and golden. Serve mixed dal dosa hot with chutney. Also check adai recipe.

- 1/2 cup broken black urad dal
- 3/4 cup moong dal
