- 1 cup cubed pumpkin peeled
- 10 almonds optional
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- toasted nuts for serving
- few saffron strands
Peel and chop the pumpkin into cubes. Pressure cook along with 10 almonds for 3-4 whistles.
Drain and peel the almonds. Blend into a smooth puree
Bring 2 cups whole milk to a boil. Add 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk and mix well. Simmer for 6-7 minutes.
Add the pureed pumpkin and mix well. Simmer for 5-6 minutes.
Add cardamom powder and mix well. Remove from flame. Serve chilled or warmed.
