Cardamom Milk Recipe (Elaichi Milk)

Ingredients

  • 6 cardamom pods
  • few saffron strands
  • 3 cups boiled milk.
  • 3 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

  • Pick 6 plump green cardamom pods and crush it well using a mortar and pestle
  • Add 3 cups previously boiled milk to a sauce pan. Add few saffron strands.
  • Next add the crushed cardamom pods. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add sugar or palm candy powder and mix well.
  • Serve cardamom milk hot or warm.

Notes

  • You can double the recipe.
  • Cardamom milk is best served warm.
