- 2 tablespoons oil
- 6 garlic cloves peeled and chopped
- 2 onions chopped
- 1 big bell pepper chopped
- 1 tomato chopped
- 6 dried red chilies
- salt to taste
- tamarind small piece
Heat oil in a pan. Fry the garlic cloves well first.
Next add the cubed onions and saute well. Add dried red chilies and saute
Add the cubed bell peppers and tomatoes. Saute in medium flame for 10-12 minutes. Add tamarind piece, salt and sugar. Mix well.
Let cool and blend into a smooth or chunky sauce. Store in airtight jar and use as required.
