Homemade granola with milk and loads of fruits is one of our favorite breakfasts once in a while. More than breakfast this is great as an after school snack for my daughter with or without milk.
I tasted granola for the first time few years back and its my favorite ever since. I love to have it in breakfast occasionally but as a snack I can go on munching it 🙂 I always prefer homemade ones rather than picking it off the self from the stores.
While making granola at home we have the total control over ingredients. I prefer to add all healthy ingredients I could get my hands on :). Also making the granola on stove top is very convenient as we can do it along with other cooking.
Use rolled oats or whole oats for making this recipe. The regular quick cooking oats can also be used but the texture will be very different.
Having a jar full of this homemade granola is so handy. Serve it with some milk and fresh cut fruits as breakfast or with coffee as snack. Toddlers and kids will love this yummy healthy snack.
