Eggless chocolate brownies recipe with oreos for added taste and texture. I am not a big fan of oreo cookies and I don’t buy it as such. This summer I got many requests from my readers for cream and cookies ice cream recipe and purchased oreo cookies for making the same. I had some leftover cookies and wanted to try this popular oreo brownies. I have seen many pictures of oreo brownies in my instagram feed and they did look impressive 🙂
I used my trusted eggless brownies recipe for making these eggless oreo brownies. The brownies turned out to be amazing. I used amul bittersweet chocolate and it was damn good in the brownies. Deep, dense and so rich, just a small square of this eggless oreo brownie is utterly satisfying.
To make eggless oreo brownies recipe, I used whole wheat flour. Using whole wheat flour makes the brownies more dense but we like it that way. If you want relatively lighter brownie use all purpose flour or combination of both flours.
Serve eggless oreo brownies warm or at room temperature as dessert. You can even make sizzling brownies or serve hot brownie with ice cream too.

Step by step oreo brownies recipe
1. Preheat oven at 180C. Prepare a 9 or 10 inch square tin by greasing and lining with parchment or butter paper.
2. Melt butter and chocolate in a small pan until smooth and glossy. let cool. Add sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder and mix very well.
3. Sift wheat flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix well.
4. Add 3/4 cup broken oreos and fold. Pour the oreo brownie batter into the prepared tin. Spread the remaining bits of oreo cookies over the top and tap gently. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes. Let cool for 10 inutes before slicing. Serve eggless oreo brownies warm or at room temperature.

1 CUP = 250 ml
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour minus 2 tablespoons
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 150 grams butter
- 250 grams dark chocolate chopped
- 400 grams sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup broken or crushed chocolate sandwiched cookies oreo
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- A pinch of salt if using unsalted butter
- Vanilla extract
Instructions
