Hara bhara sabudana kabab recipe with step by step photos. Sharing one of my successful experiment with you all today 🙂 The other day I was all set to make sabudana vada recipe and also I wanted to finish off the cilantro leaves that I had. So I made these hara bhara sabudana kabab and it turned out wonderful. I pan fried the kabab with just 2 tablespoons oil in low flame. it takes ore time to pan fry the kababs but the result is worth the effort. You can even bake these kababs if you wish.

To make hara bhara sabudana kabab we need soaked and drained sabudana, cilantro leaves and rice or gram flour as main ingredients. The mixture is then shaped into kabab and pan fried or deep fried.

Step by step hara bhara sabudana kabab recipe

1. Soak sabudana in enough water for 6-8 hours. Drain and set aside.

2. Grind together one cup tightly packed coriander leaves, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 2-3 green chilies and 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala powder into a smooth paste.

3. Into a mixing bowl add the cilantro paste, boiled and coarsely mashed potatoes, roasted and crushed peanuts, drained sabudana and salt. Add 2 tablespoons rice or gram flour. Shape the mixture into kababs.

4. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Fry 2 kababs at a time in low medium flame. Serve hara bhara sabudana kabab hot with red chili sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/4 cup soaked and drained sabudana
  • 1 medium potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
  • 1 cup cilantro leaves tightly packed
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
  • salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice or gram flour

Notes

1. You can add 1/2 cup blanched spinach if you have in hand
2. Use gram flour or rice flour for binding as per taste.
