aloo jhol recipe b

Aloo jhol is the side dish for poori popular in Uttar pradesh. Aloo poori combination is a very popular and loved one across India. In south India we have poori masala as popular breakfast. In restaurants poori is alwys served with spicy potato besan masala. Few other popular side dish for poori are bombay chutney, tomato gotsu, sagu, veg kurma, shrikand.

To make aloo jhol I have used a pressure cooker. So making aloo jhol is easy this way. This potato curry should be thin as jhol means thin gravy. But if you prefer thicker gravy you can adjust the consistency too.

Serve aloo jhol with poori. It also tastes very good with roti, rice.
