moothie Ingredients
So what goes in this banana mango smoothie? Obviously mangoes, bananas, some coconut milk and some sweetener
Mangoes– The thumb rule with any mango recipe, only sweet ripe mangoes fit in. Basically in smoothie or juice recipes, sweeter your fruit, less sugar you will need to add. So use ripe sweet mangoes tat less fibrous. You can use frozen mangoes for creamy smoothie
Banana– Frozen bananas work the best. If you have over ripe bananas that are about to spoil, just peel, slice and pop them into freezer. These will come handy to make banana smoothie with mango or any other fruit too. If you don’t ave frozen banana just use ripe sliced bananas.
Milk– I have used coconut milk here. For vegan smootie you can use almond milk or soy milk also. You can use dairy milk in this recipe. If you want to avoid milk you can add orange juice or just water.
Sugar- Healthier options will be coconut sugar, palm sugar, jaggery or cane sugar.
Add-ons– You can add some chia seeds, nuts like almonds or walnuts, seeds like sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds while blending the smoothie.
