Making Mango Mastani At Home
You can make mango mastani very easily at home. The recipe is fairly simple with just mangoes, milk and ice cream. the quality of the ingredients is what important here. Ripe sweet mangoes and good quality ice cream yields best matani.
Mangoes– Always use ripe and sweet mangoes for mango recipes like smoothie, custard, milkshakes, puddings. Sweet mangoes means more flavor and less sweetener in your recipe. I like to alphonso mangoes in this mastani recipe for its color, taste and flavor.
Milk– Use full fat or whole milk for thick rich mastani. Also do not use too much of milk. Just dilute the mango puree with a splash of milk. Mango mastani is supposed to be thick and hearty.
Toppings- Toppings are what that make this dessert interesting. Top your mastani with loads of chopped nuts, glazed cherries, chopped mangoes scoops of ice cream. Serve with a long spoon to dig in 🙂
