When I shared this easy paneer kabab recipe here, I got many requests for baked kabab recipe. I always wanted to make a snack with palak paneer combination and this kabab was such a super hit recipe. It is a keeper recipe in every sense. Very less work, healthy, no deep frying that means no standing before stove :), gluten free and you need very less day to day ingredients to make this. If you wish you can deep fry this but I highly recommend baking these palak paneer kabab if you have an oven.
To make palak paneer kabab you need fresh panner, crumbled well and fresh spinach or palak leaves. I have use green chili and ginger for flavor along with cumin seeds. You can use garam masala powder if you wish. I have added gram flour for binding. you can use plain flour or corn flour if you want to. The baking time varies from oven to oven, so keep acheck and bake as per your oven.
Serve palak paneer kabab hot with tea or coffee.

Step by step palak paneer kabab recipe
1.Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan. Add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds and let splutter. Add crushed ginger green chilies and saute well. Next add the washed and chopped spinach leaves and saute for 2-3 minutes.Once the spinach wilts a little, sprinkle gram flour little by little and keep sauteing. Once the gram flour changes color, remove from flame and let cool thoroughly.
2. Take crumbled paneer in a mixing bowl. Add the cooked spinach and required salt. Mix thoroughly and make a dough.
3. Preheat oven at 180C. Grease a baking sheet generously.
4. Divide the kabab mixture into 15-18 equal portions. Shape each one into a kabab.
5. Arrange the shaped kababs on the greased baking sheet. Brush each kabab with few drops of oil.
6. Bake in the hot oven for 15-20 minutes or until the top turns firm and golden. After 10 minutes flip each kabab to ensure even baking. Serve palak paneer kabab hot.

- 2-3 garlic cloves peeled and minced
