Rooh afza means refresher of the soul rightly so. It is a concentrate of various herbs, fruits and vegetables along with rose. You can find more information about this syrup here.
We use rooh afza in many ways in India. Along with this milkshake, you can add this syrup in lassi, ice cream, sharbath etc.
Sometimes we just add rooh afza to plain water and gulp it. This syrup is so flavorful and delicious that we just love it.
How To Make Rooh Afza Milkshake?
To make this rooh afza milkshake you just blend rooh afza, vanilla extract and chilled milk well until frothy. You can add nuts like almond or pistachios for richness.
If you have ice cream handy that can also be used. I don’t add sweetener in this rooh afza milkshake as there is enough in syrup.
I generally make this milkshake with just milk and rooh afza. Adding some nuts and fruits adds to the flavor. Another variation is to add bloomed sabja seeds or chia seeds.
Serve rooh afza milkshake thoroughly chilled for a yummy summer treat. So much better than store bought cartons of milkshakes and juices.
