Bread Pakora Ingredients:
To make stuffed bread pakora recipe we need basic ingredients.
For stuffing we need potatoes, green chilies and regular seasoning of cumin, salt and chili powder.
The batter is prepared with chickpea flour, carom seeds, salt and water.
I prefer to use white bread for making bread pakora. The slight sweet taste of white bread compliments the spicy stuffing very well.
Use groundnut oil or vegetable oil for frying. You can even shallow fry or pan fry these pakora in low flame.
Fried green chilies are usually served with these pakoras.
Recipe Notes and Tips For Best Bread Pakora:
The batter should lump free and thick enough to coat the bread slices. if the batter is very thin it will not coat the bread slices and if it is very thick the pakora will not be crispy.
Adding carom seeds or ajwain increases the flavor and helps in digestion.
Do not over crowd the pan while frying the pakoras.
