Ganga jamuna juice is a unique juice which is a mix of orange and mosambi juice. This orange mosambi juice is very popular in north India. You can easily make this ganga jamuna juice with or without juicer at home for this summer. Healthy, refreshing and tasty drink for summer!

This ganga jamuna juice is a very popular juice in north India. This juice is a combination of fresh orange and mosambi juice. Mosambi also known as sweet lime pairs up beautifully with orange juice.
So why do they call it Ganga Jamuna juice? May be Ganga and Jamuna (Yamuna) are two holy rivers flowing in northern parts of India and this juice is named as it uses two fruits.
I have tasted this juice few times in Bangalore. Once I came to know the method, I ave been making this at home very often.
During season we go through lots of mosambi and orange at our home. So making this juice is very easy and a delicious way to consume fruits. As I said above I do not use a juice to just extract the juice. I blend just using a blender here.

How To Make Ganga Jamuna Juice Step by Step
Peel the oranges and slice the mosambi into two.
Extract the juice from sweet lime or mosambi using a handheld juicer. You can also peel and blend the fruit to get juice.
Peel the orange and take the segments in a blender jar. Blend smoothly and strain the juice. You can add 1/4 cup water if required.
Now mix both juice, add sugar to taste and blend again. You can also add some ice cubes and blend or add ice cubes while serving.
Serve ganga jamuna juice immediately.

Top Tips To Remember
Use ripe fruits with thin inner membrane and peel. They have more juice and are sweeter.
If you are extracting juice using a handheld juicer, do not squeeze it till the last drop. The juice will turn bitter.
Add ice cubes at the time of serving otherwise the juice will be diluted.
You can a pinch of cumin powder for zing.
It is better to consume the juice immediately after preparing.

- 3 ripe sweet limes
