During summer lemonades are the order of the day. I make various delicious lemonades like mint, rose, strawberry and this mango lemonade is a top favorite too.

To make mango lemonade you just need 3 ingredients and 10 minutes hands on time. The recipe for this lemonade is a bit different. You need to make a simple syrup or sugar syrup first and mix the fruit puree later.

You can make this drink well ahead of time and serve as needed. It is in fact a wonderful party starter or welcome drink during summer. If you love tropical flavored drinks this is your best best along with pina colada, pineapple juice, mango pineapple pops.

I usually have some simple syrup handy so making mango lemonade takes just 5 minutes. You can also use store bought syrup or make and store the syrup in refrigerate.

I am big on homemade juices and drinks. I like to mix and match the fruits, vary the flavors and create good mock tails at home. You guys should check out my popular fruit punch, ganga jamuna juice, agua fresca recipes for party drink ideas 🙂

Which Mangoes Are Best For lemonade?

Use any variety of mango that is sweet and ripe. Sweeter the mangoes, less sugar you will need in the recipe. Also choose mangoes that are less fibrous.

Can I Use Tinned Mango Pulp?

Yes, instead of fresh mango puree, you can easily use store bought tinned pulp. Look for good quality kesar or alphonso mango pulp without sugar.

Can We Make Mango lemonade Without Sugar Syrup?

Sugar syrup lends an intense taste and cuts the tartness of this lemonade. However you can easily make this lemonade without sugar syrup too. Just add required sugar while you are pureeing the mangoes.

How To Select Best lemon For Lemonade?

Select lemons that are bright yellow. Ripe lemons yield more juice and are less tart. Also make sure the lemons are free of bruises. The peel of the lemon should be thin.

To get more from lemons, keep them soaked in warm water for 15 minutes before extracting the juice.
