I love summer despite the heat for its fresh fruits. Next to mangoes watermelon is my favorite fruit. We go through so much of watermelon at our home.
Now not all fruit combines well with watermelon. But one combo that is absolutely stunning is this watermelon and strawberry. Now that we have both ripe juicy strawberries and watermelon in season, I urge you all to try this combo.
You basically start with sweetest watermelon, frozen bananas and plump juicy strawberries. I like to use frozen berries as they magically make any smoothie thick and lush. Just blend them together with a splash of lemon or lime, you are done 🙂

Step by Step Method
Remove the rind and seeds from the watermelon. Chop coarsely.
To a blender jar add 2 small frozen bananas, 7-8 frozen strawberries and 2 teaspoons lemon juice.
Top with few crushed mint leaves and serve strawberry watermelon smoothie immedietly.
